About hotel
The name comes from the address, No 5 Moika Riverfront, and the hotel is right in St. Petersburg’s historic cultural centre. Nearby there’s the multi-coloured Church of the Resurrection, popularly known as the Church of the Saviour on the Blood. From the hotel it’s only a five-minute walk to Palace Square and the Hermitage. The city’s main thoroughfare, Nevsky Prospect, with its museums and glittery Parisian-style nightlife is less than ten minutes away. Definitely worth a visit is right on Moika, the Pushkin Museum, which is situated in Alexander Pushkin’s last home. The Hotel Moika 5 has 24 rooms in three categories—18 standard rooms, 2 superior rooms and 4 suites with sauna and Jacuzzi. All rooms in the hotel come with television, phone, room safe and WiFi Internet. The four well-designed suite-rooms are split level and have air conditioning. Breakfast is also complimentary in the hotel’s ground-floor cafe; in the courtyard. Also worth a look is the hotel’s own art gallery, constantly replenished with exhibits of work by local artists. Normally reviews are written afterwards but as a guest staying for several weeks, I thought I could write already. (It is also my second visit with Nevsky Hotels Group.) Russia is definitely a wonderful country. There are so many positive aspects of Russia and if there is one important negative thing, it is the service level as service idea still needs to be improved a lot there. However, Nevsky Hotels Group makes a surprise here: In addition to excellent things they offer to the value which is nearly impossible to find elsewhere, they impress people with their service style which is higher than the world standards and even most of the very developed countries. I normally do not make recommendations as it is risky but I can recommend to any of the hotel from this group to anyone. I have experinced two of them and it is easy to understand all are being runned by the same elegant system. So, if you want to feel at home or even better than you are at home, you need to consider these hotels for sure. Decision is yours, but consideration is necessary... Staff... There are so many nice people and there may be others I didn\'t meet yet so I am not writing any names here but thanking to all of them. As an exception, I specially thank to Irina (who is not from the staff) for everything she has done so far. Hotel... If being very close to metro is not the main thing for you, Moyka 5 seems the best with 10 minutes walk to the center. Very silent, relaxing, safe and nice place with its 24 rooms. Suggestion... It can be considered to arrance lunch & dinner facilities and increase the number of television channels for the future. (They are not problems as many restaurants are nearby and more than 20 channels are present but I wanted to write in order to make a contribution.)

Corrobaramos lo que dice nuestra compatriada Fernando sobre el hotel. La situacion en el muelle del Moika y en el centro de la ciudad no podia ser mejor. Despus de un inicio un poco accidentado, nos trasladaron a este hotel y hemos estado muy puesto. Seguimos algunos mejores: 1 desayuno un poco mas variado y un poco mas de calor en la actitud de algunas de las chicias de la recepcion, las que son profesionales. San Petersburgo ya no tiene secretos para nosotras, es una ciudad fascinante y la hemos reccorido con placer. Y hemos tenido un viaje magnifico en la isla Valaam. Y ESPANA CAMPEONES DEL MUNDO!!!! OE. OE. OE!!!!!!!!!!
